The Orbisonia-Rockhill Furnace Historical Society is a relatively new member of the historical society community, having been formed about five years ago. It consists of a small but dedicated group of persons determined to preserve the history of the Orbisonia-Rockhill area. The society has recently purchased a building, thought to be associated with the area’s 18th century iron-manufacturing history, that members hope to restore as their headquarters.

Until a building is available to contain the Society’s collection of local historical materials, they are being housed at member’s homes. To inquire about donating items to the collections or about becoming a member and participating in Society activities, please see the contact information below.
